Arguably the best burrito I've ever had in NYC. Had the California style burrito. Insanely good

Such a great deal! Great menu and super authentic food. Workers were nice. You get a free drink with your meal. Small shop with limited seating.

Food was delicious and came out very quickly. The tacos were amazing. The quesadilla could've had a little more cheese or had it spread out to the end as I found myself with a heavy middle and just tortilla at the end but overall, very good

The California burrito is better than the one from Electric Burrito. The ingredients include meat, cheese, fries, sour cream, pico, and guac, but I'd swear there's something more going on--mine seemed to also have a creamy sauce that was incredibly tasty. The fries inside the burrito still had some crunch even after being walked from 2nd Ave to the esplanade. Great stuff. I will say that the nickel-and-diming felt absurd. As you can see from the menu photo that someone else posted, there's an extra charge for literally anything additional, cilantro, onions, jalapenos, red/green sauce, etc. I get that restaurants operate on razor-thin margins, but most of that stuff doesn't cost extra at other places, and meticulously listing it all out feels customer-hostile; my burrito with jalapenos and green sauce plus tip came to almost $20. (The green sauce was *very* good, though, and I assume it's made onsite.) At any rate, if you want something quite superior to the Chipotle on Madison Ave and don't mind a little walking, go here, take it to the esplanade, and enjoy.

Really happy with the (California-Style) Steak Burrito. It's a very generous portion, and it comes with guacamole and a lot of fresh fillings (and fries on the inside). My favorite part has to be the salsas though. Their green and red salsas are a must (my favorite is switching between the two while I eat the burrito. Very solid.

Nice hole in the wall taco place! I got the fish tacos, which come in an order of three. The fish was freshly prepared and not breaded. Really nicely made and the accompanying pico cilantro, onions and peppers was fantastic.

Wow! A great cheap taco place, got all this for $12 (I added Cojita cheese for extra). They gave me so much meat which was super delicious! I do wish they put more onions and cheese on it, I feel like they just did a light dusting of those. Guess it's better to get a lot of meat rather than just a lot of toppings though. Came with 2 little sauces, a hot one and a more flavor based green one. Recommend asking for an extra sauce if you get 3 tacos. Will definitely be back

Solid shop for their burritos! The size of burrito is good and I'm glad the meat itself is well flavored, they also include corn in it. Their quesadillas are also solid. Get the green sauce.

Surprisingly affordable and delicious tacos in midtown. This is the type of joint people will get takeout during their work break because there's only two tables and some hightops. The sauces are delicious. One thing I wish was different about not just Tacos Grand Central but restaurants in general is the amount of single use serviceware that creates waste. Even the food and sauces are served in plastic containers that don't really get recycled. A simple solution is only give out straws, sauces, and utensils if customers ask. I'd rather just get it foil like I'm at a taco truck at that point. Apologies for the rant but this is the only reason I would not return if I was in the area!
